About Me

My photo
Justinus Veturia Figulus
Salve! Mea nomina est Justinus Veturia Figulus. Welcome to my blog! As my cognomen suggests, I am a potter. However, I am not practicing pottery at the moment, for I am writing to you from a prison in Rome. I was imprisoned in A.D. 65 because of my firm Christian beliefs, just like many of my friends. Therefore, I have decided to use this time in prison to tell you about my life story, from my birth in A.D. 20 to now, A.D. 67. My story, which I will tell you through many different letters, is a very long yet interesting one, covering events such as seeing the crucifixion of Jesus and becoming a Christian; working hard to take over my father’s occupation as a potter and compete with the new pottery factories; and getting arrested one day while selling my wares in the Forum. I hope you will enjoy my blog! Vale!
